Irregular pieces with flash

The problem of the customer is that to recognize the orientation and the position of particularly heterogeneous pieces as diecasting with flashes with the purpose to manipulate them with a robot. The pieces are coarsely stain and with very marked flashes also refolded on the same piece. VEA® has developed the HQV-ROBOT system in order to solve the problems in a robot guide. Our vision systems has been tested on over 10 robot brands.

3D robot guidance to take pieces from the chest.

This is a robot guidance that uses 3D stereoscopic vision to take items directly from a chest or from heap.
There is a range of HQV-ROBOT-3D products that handle 3D robot guidance optimally for each type of parts and placement

Take biscuit with conveyor tracking

The problem is to pack some biscuits withdrawing them with a robot from a conveyor belt. The biscuits have a casual position and the belt is in movement. This application uses 6 systems to command all the 12 robots in the production line. Thanks to the completely configurable interface it is possible to connect with whatever robot system also with conveyor in movement (conveyor tracking mode). The PLC included in the vision system allows to manage I/O with 32 parallel tasks, independently from the vision systems.

Taking of wet objects on dirty conveyor

One of the features of our HQV-ROBOT system is the high reliability in searching the right object and the precision of its space coordinates: in this example, oil would make very difficult the whole vision process to a vision system based on general purpose algorythms.

Robot guidance for taken circular objects with precision phasing

To localize the center of a circular object is not sure a problem, cannot be said the same thing in finding the correct phase, that is the angle respect to a reference in order to execute as an example of the successive workings. In HQV-ROBOT is present a specific module for the high precision phasing that works also on not perfect pieces like fusions, etc.
